EVIDENTLY CHICKENTOWN

john cooper clarke was SO good last night he was only supposed to be on for an hour but he was chatting and reading poetry for way over two hours. I don’t think i have laughed so much or enjoyed a night out in a very long time. After the show i tapped on the dressing room door to be greeted with his tour manager, “will john please sign my vinyl please” in which he opened the door and went to say hello. He kissed me on the cheek and said he recognised me as his daughters best friend florence looks like me apparently.  He signed my vinyl “to ruby eternally yours love from john cooper clarke” and talked to me about my duffle coat and how topshop and gap are the only clothes that fit him. I felt like my dad cracking his jokes at school today
