i actually got the bus and recieved my treat for doing so, aka seeing the little black pug in it’s red coat! today was mildly dull but hardly painful, the hand in for arty things is in two weeks and everyone is fighting to get things finished.

i watched tons of videos on william eggleston and i have decided that as a photographer he is one of my favourites, his high contrast images almost look unreal how he can capture such beauty in the plain, shopping trollies, discarded toys. He is definitely an endeering extrovert character, i watched as he played piano to his photographs and how he spoke about how he chose art and music over “character building”. He is also very fond of the work of david lynch and they met for the day to discuss photography, he talks about it here. The work of Eggleston has influenced Twin Peaks, Gummo (harmony korine), the virgin suicides (coppola), Elephant (van sant). Talking of TwinPeaks did anyone else do a massive “dale cooper kiss me” when he kisses annie? also dont ever google to see what the guy who plays dale cooper looks like now, he reminds me of richard from richard and judy!!
